Lion Health collects and stores information about our users to verify identity. This information enables Lion Health to communicate with you directly and in turn provide you the Lion Health.

Information We Collect

Personally Identifiable Information.

If you voluntarily submit information to the Website, for example, in a request for general information, in order to create an account with us or populate your account, we may record and use such personally identifiable information, such as your name, phone number, e-mail address, and health care related claims information, for reasonable business purposes including, but not limited to, fulfilling your requests. By using our App on your mobile device some of your medical information may be stored on the device. We may use the information provided by your mobile device, including your geo-location information, to make recommendations and personalize the App for you. Lion Health is not responsible for any usage of your mobile device or our App by an unauthorized third party.

Voluntarily-Provided Information

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you sign up for Lion Health. We also collect other information you provide to us through other means when using the Lion Health, such as when you fill out or update a user profile on the Lion Health or when you contact us to request help or support.

Information from your provider

We may receive data from your provider’s electronic health record system or connect wearable device. We will present this data to you as part of our user interface.

  • The Lion Health, including your Lion Health account.
  • Direct communications with you, which may include messages regarding Lion Health we believe you may be interested in.

Parents and Guardians.The personally identifiable information on the Website is provided based on parental/guardian permission of minors using the services of participating healthcare providers and such parental/guardian consent to use the Lion Health. Any information maintained by Lion Health about minors is provided only under the express authorization of the parent/guardian. Lion Health does not solicit personally identifiable information from minors and will not contact minors directly. Individuals over the age of thirteen are not permitted to use the Lion Health and all such accounts will be disabled.

International Users.

The Lion Health are hosted in the United States and generally are intended for United States visitors. If you visit from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from United States law, please be aware that you are transferring personally identifiable information to the United States. The United States does not have the same data protection laws as the European Union and other regions.
